CSO officers help to foster a community of faith by inviting students into a deeper relationship with Jesus and each other. Through prayer, service, and social events offered by the CSO students have the opportunity to grow in their faith and build authentic friendships.

Article V. Officer Elections
Section 1: General elections of new officers will take place by the second week of April each year.

Bylaws Article II.
Officer Duties and Responsibilities
Section 1: President. It shall be his/her duty to (1) preside, (2) set agendas, (3) name committees with the help of the Executive Board, (4) coordinate work of other officers, (5) represent the CSO to outside groups, (6) report to the members at the end of the semester on the progress made, (7) be responsible for the nature and production of information to be distributed to all CSO members, (8) meet with the Pastor, Campus Minister, and Faculty Advisor, accompanied by the Vice-President, at least once a semester to discuss the progress of the Catholic Student Organization, and (9) ensure the Catholic Student Organization’s compliance with the Recognized Student Organization Manual.
Section 2: Vice President. It shall be his/her duty to (1) coordinate and officiate in the absence of the President, (2) assist the President with the presidential duties, (3) uphold the constitution, (4) act as Parliamentarian during meetings, and (5) be the liaison between the members and the Executive Board.
Section 3: Secretary. It shall be his/her duty to (1) act as historian of the organization, (2) record the minutes at each meeting, (3) be responsible for updating and posting on OrgSync, (4) record attendance at CSO activities and meetings, (5) keep records of all members, and (6) recertify the CSO as a Recognized Student Organization at the beginning of each academic year via OrgSync.
Section 4: Treasurer. It shall be his/her duty to (1) keep record and be responsible of the organization’s funds, (2) reside as the fundraising committee head, (3) create, organize, and execute at least one fundraiser per semester, and (4) set budgets each semester.
Section 5: Social Chair. It shall be his/her duty to (1) create, organize, and execute at least one social function and/or program per semester, (2) create, organize, execute at least one community service event per semester, (3) reside as the social committee head, and (4) designate CSO activities for the academic year.
